What can couples do in Myrtle Beach? This hotspot serves a large menu of options from scenic strolls to alluring attractions — no matter what time of year you visit. With a stay at one of our condos on the beach, you’re on your way to a memorable seascape!

Wake up to a stunning sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean

What’s the best way to start your romantic getaway in Myrtle Beach? A front-row seat to a fabulous sunrise with your honey! We offer a wide selection of charming condos with unobstructed oceanfront views and furnished full-length balconies. Snuggle up with your sweetheart for this magical debut right in your pajamas on your own personal perch.

We also have condos with oceanfront master bedrooms — it’s like a honeymoon suite right on Myrtle Beach! This way, you can watch the sunrise grace the ocean’s horizon right from the comfort of your cozy bed. You may even catch cameo appearances of dolphins bobbing along the waves as an added bonus. No extra fees will be necessary for this daily appearance!

Tee for two at a Myrtle Beach golf course

Home to nearly a hundred courses, golfing is a laid-back way to swing in some laughs while  enjoying lovely outdoor surroundings. Pawleys Plantation, Dunes Golf & Beach Club, and Caledonia Golf & Fish Club are some top choices for scenery, but be sure to book a slot ahead of time. See more of our favorite Myrtle Beach golf courses here.

If pro golf courses aren’t on par with your preferences, you’ll find putt-putt a fun way to feel like high school sweethearts. Hey, you deserve just as much fun as the kids too! Some of the favorite courses are Hawaiian Rumble, Cancun Lagoon, and Captain Hook’s Adventure Golf. All boast elaborate themes that feature special effects!

Wander along scenic spots in Murrells Inlet

Just a short drive south of our Myrtle Beach Resort condos, you’ll arrive at Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk in a historic fishing village along an estuary. This half-mile boardwalk delivers a scenic spot to spend time together — dine on fresh seafood, zoom around on a jet ski, view the sunset on an evening stroll, or listen to lively music.

Head a little further south to marvel at Atalaya Castle in Huntington Beach State Park and its scenic courtyard. Archer M. Huntington built this refuge in 1931, and his wife created large animal sculptures there. You can find out more about this estate with a self-guided tour.

Across the highway, stroll through the moss-draped Brookgreen Gardens. This former rice plantation covers 9,000-acres with plenty of scenic trails. View figurative sculptures, manicured landscaping, and reflecting pools. Enjoy theatre and music performances in the summertime!

Take a ride on the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel

The SkyWheel will be the highlight of your romantic getaway in Myrtle Beach! You two will have breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the Grand Strand. Located in downtown Myrtle Beach, this 187-foot landmark overlooks the sweeping Atlantic shores and the Boulevard & Promenade.

The SkyWheel gently glides you in a gondola for three revolutions. It’s about 8-10 minutes long, so you can soak up all the scenery without your stomach churning. Each of the 42 Swiss-made gondolas are climate-controlled with wheelchair accessibility.

The gondolas have non-reflective glass on all sides — the two of you can snap lots of amazing selfies together of your picturesque surroundings. After sunset, the lit-up SkyWheel gives you an opportunity to view the city glowing with lights and the stars shining above.

Hold hands along the streets of Market Common

Lined with lush greenery, this upscale lifestyle center is located in downtown Myrtle Beach. Market Common offers a non-touristy area for the two of you to play, dine, and shop to your heart’s delight. Share a mountain of nachos or sample each other’s ice cream. Peek at paintings or watch a movie at Grand14 Cinema. The possibilities are endless!

You’ll find an array of boutiques from apparel to accessories along the manicured streetscapes. The two of you can take a nice long walk together in one of the surrounding areas and walk off all the delicious food you ate. Or, rent an electric bike and peddle along one of the many designated paths. This beautiful setting also hosts romantic events throughout the year!

Wine down with tastings in the heart of Myrtle Beach

Wine may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Myrtle Beach, but the Grand Strand dishes out a variety of tasting opportunities. And you don’t have to go far either! After a romantic picnic together, uncork a taste of the vine in the downtown area.

The two of you can sip, sip, hooray in two places at Broadway at the Beach! Boardwalk Winery is a small micro winery that specializes in fruit wines, summer wine slushies, and winter hot wines — sample any 7 available wines for just a few bucks.

You can continue the tastings at Coastal Carolina Winery for 7 more wine tastings too. Take a seat on their custom-made chairs, view an assortment of hand-made pottery and accessories, and take home some souvenirs for friends and family back home.

Catch a live showing at a Myrtle Beach theatre

A trip to the theatre makes for a riveting date night together! And, we’re not talking about going to the movies (you can have a “home theatre experience” in your Myrtle Beach vacation rental.) You’ll find plenty of award-winning performances to watch together on the Grand Strand!

Downtown Myrtle Beach swarms with live entertainment options. Watch world-class tribute artists perform at Legends in Concert, root for your knights at Medieval Times, and watch Vegas and New York City acts at Asher Theatre.

You could also watch a dazzling spectacle from acclaimed musicals to comedic performances at The Carolina Opry, the first live theatre to open in Myrtle Beach. Just further north, the Alabama Theatre boasts even more hits that you’ll remember for years to come!

Have a date night at an oceanfront restaurant

Why not enjoy a romantic dinner for two right on the water? The turquoise-tinged views always pair well with a culinary cuisine. Whether you’re looking for casual eateries or fine dining, Myrtle Beach dishes out sizzling seafood and savory steaks that your taste buds will love.

Sea Captain’s House makes for a top-choice for a romantic dinner. This award-winning restaurant serves fresh catches, flavorful pies, and signature drinks. You’ll also love Damon’s Grill, Landshark Bar and Grill, and The Cypress Room. See more of our favorite restaurants.
